RESPONSIBILITIES

Initial routing and route determination of 320km of 48" gas pipeline over extremely difficult terrain, production of the EIA, and submittal of the ES to gain DTI consent (the equivalent of DCO today).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

-  Project designed as one project then construction execution split between two companies to ensure project success

-  Split 2/3 undertaken by NLMJV and 1/3 undertaken by MUPL/PPS

-  10 micro tunnels, 2 HDD's crossing rivers

-  Rail and over 50 roads crossed with no dig techniques 

-  International workforce

-  Project delivered on time and in budget 

-  Longest 48" pipeline built in the UK
